Isle of Mull
The plan for this week is to base ourselves on Mull and plan our daily paddling based on group ability and the prevailing weather forecast.
Mull has so much to offer the sea kayaker, with the islands of Staffa, Ulva and Iona all close to hand.
This trip would be appropriate for returning clients or those with previous kayaking experience.
Orkney Trip
The plan for this 4 day trip is to base ourselves centrally on the Island and run a series of day trips exploring Orkney's stunning landscape.
Orkney's rich wildlife and stunning scenery has plenty to offer the sea kayaker. We will plan our paddling to make the most of the prevailing weather forecast.
This trip would be suitable for returning clients or those with previous kayaking experience.
Knoydart Trip
Although part of the mainland, the Knoydart peninsula is renowned for its remoteness. There is no road access and the best way to get there is by boat.
We plan to meet up at Mallaig on the Saturday morning, and after loading our kayaks with our camping equipment make our way round to Loch Nevis. We will find a remote campsite for our first nights camp at the head of Loch nevis. Our next campsite will be at the beach at Inverie which allows us easy access to the Old Forge, reputably the remotest pub in the UK.
